Announcing the inaugural Chartway Virginia Beach 10 Miler and 5K happening on Labor Day Weekend, September 2-3, 2023.
Virginia Beach has historically held a large running event over Labor Day weekend, creating a fun, festive end of summer celebration. Virginia Beach has partnered with J&A Racing to bring that excitement back to the Oceanfront.
How the lottery works:
The Chartway Virginia Beach 10 Miler lottery is open April 3, 2023 –April 17, 2023 at 11:59PM(EST). Once the lottery closes, on April 18 we will begin to randomly select the lucky 7,500 participants that will get to participate in the inaugural event. If selected, your credit card will be charged at that time and you will receive an email confirming your spot. You will also receive an email if not selected, confirming no credit card charge.
THE LIVE THE LIFE CHALLENGE INCLUDES BOTH THE 5K ON 9/2 AND THE 10 MILER ON 9/3. THIS IS NOT A LOTTERY BUT A GUARANTEED, PAY-ON-THE-SPOT PATH TO THE 10 MILER AND THE 5K.
